Not a Golden Daemon Finalist

Having done well in painting competitions this year, I thought that I'd give Golden Demon a go for the first time ever. I've entered in a number of categories and the first round is already over.

This Great Unclean One of Nurgle got cut at the first hurdle, however.

Still, I've got a number of other entries left in the competition. I'll find out next weekend whether they'll survive the next hurdle. Until then, I'll keep their identities under wraps...

Good luck!

But I have to say I'm a bit confused... why do you have to wait until next weekend to find out about your other entries?

Don't be discouraged! The feedback I got from the judges after my Golden Demon failures was far more valuable than the drybrushed resin trophy you get for winning.

Thanks guys!

@Kevin -- there are several "rounds" before the national judging; ranging from local to State-wide. At each juncture, only so many entrants go forward to the next round as I understand it.
