Death Guard Flamer Plague Marine

++ Brother Gravatus to Command. I have secured the beacon. Insignificant resistance encountered. You may proceed when ready. ++

Merely a brief update today to show off a recently assembled plague marine carrying a flamer. I like the pose of this guy - he looks like he might be carefully considering or evaluating something: he's looking to his left with his flamer held high and his chain sword hung low.

My take on it is summarized in the opening transmission: he might have just secured an objective and is waiting patiently. Yet he remains observant for further potential threats.

Nice! I initially wanted to start a pure Death Guard army with the Forge World upgrades, but they were just too expensive... (I'm an infantry maniac, so I will need like 2 packs of the upgrades and the terminator ones as well)

Good job anyway!

Very nice! Even after using them for so long now, I'm always amazed by the sheer detail of FW pieces.

If I could only afford me some Forgeworld Nurgle stuff. Then I'd be set.

Does not look like a friendly gentleman, does he. I would think twice about coming up to any place he is hanging out. Nice work.

I can see him thinking, to burn or not to burn.... thats not really a question because I'm gonna burn it twice for making me think.

Love the death guard army from forge world. Makes me want to have money.

Happy painting.

The tilted head really does give him an inquisitive look. Great modeling here.

That pose is pretty bad-ass. Not to mention Forgeworld parts, in general, make models look bad-ass anyways!

I wish the plastic kits had more variant armour like that.
