Having done well in painting competitions this year, I thought that I'd give Golden Demon a go for the first time ever. I've entered in a number of categories and the first round is already over. This Great Unclean One of Nurgle got cut at the first hurdle, however.
Still, I've got a number of other entries left in the competition. I'll find out next weekend whether they'll survive the next hurdle. Until then, I'll keep their identities under wraps...

Don't be discouraged! The feedback I got from the judges after my Golden Demon failures was far more valuable than the drybrushed resin trophy you get for winning.

ReplyDelete@Kevin -- there are several "rounds" before the national judging; ranging from local to State-wide. At each juncture, only so many entrants go forward to the next round as I understand it.
